Pakistan Egypt Strengthen Defence and Security Ties in High Level GHQ Meeting

In a key diplomatic development, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday. The meeting, confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) marked a significant step in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations.

Focus on Defence and Security Cooperation

According to ISPR, the discussions revolved around reviewing the state of bilateral ties, which were described as relations between “two brotherly countries.”

The visiting minister communicated warm greetings from Egypt’s leadership, reiterating Cairo’s desire to expand cooperation with Pakistan.
