Bail Granted to Three NCCIA Officers
The FIA Special Central Court in Lahore has granted bail to three officers of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in connection with the bribery inquiry linked to Pakistani YouTuber Ducky Bhai.
The court approved the bail applications of Assistant Director Mujtaba, Inspector Ali Raza, and Sub-Inspector Asar Gujjar, directing each of the accused to submit surety bonds of Rs100,000.
Bail Application Rejected for Fourth Accused
The court rejected the bail plea of another accused, Salman Aziz, allowing the investigation against him to continue under custody.
Defence Denies Bribery Allegations
During the hearing, defence counsel Mohsin Cheema argued that the accused officers were falsely implicated and had no role in the alleged bribery.
The defence maintained that the case pertains to alleged extortion, emphasizing that no complainant has formally come forward to report being affected by the alleged offence.
Case Under Investigation
The case remains under investigation as legal proceedings continue to determine the extent of involvement, if any, of the accused officials.
