Meeting takes place on sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have renewed their resolve to further enhance their multifaceted partnership, focusing on expanding cooperation in key areas such as the economy, energy, trade, and investment.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Monday, on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference, where the two leaders discussed avenues for deeper collaboration and mutual growth.
High-Level Diplomacy
Arab media reported that the meeting brought together top officials from both sides, reflecting the strength and strategic importance of Pakistan–Saudi relations. The Pakistani delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, alongside senior members of the Saudi cabinet.
Strengthening Economic and Energy Ties
Discussions focused on advancing cooperation in economic development, trade expansion, energy diversification, and infrastructure investment. Both leaders emphasized the need to accelerate joint projects and increase investment flows to boost growth and stability in both nations. Energy collaboration, a cornerstone of the bilateral relationship, remained central to the talks.

The meeting also covered a broad spectrum of regional and global developments, with both leaders agreeing to maintain close communication and policy coordination.
