Mysuru Court Premises Cleared as Precautionary Measure

The Mysuru District Court in India was evacuated on Tuesday morning after authorities received an alleged bomb threat through email, triggering heightened security measures and a temporary halt to judicial proceedings.

According to police officials, the threatening email was received on January 6, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of all individuals present inside the court complex.

Judicial Officers, Lawyers, Public Asked to Vacate

As a precaution, judicial officers, lawyers, litigants, court staff, and visitors were swiftly asked to vacate the premises. Court authorities coordinated with police to carry out an orderly evacuation, preventing panic while ensuring public safety.

The entire court complex was cordoned off, and access was restricted as security operations commenced.

Bomb Disposal Squad Conducts Detailed Search

A police team accompanied by a bomb disposal squad rushed to the scene and began a systematic and thorough search of the premises. Officials said every section of the court building was being carefully inspected to verify the credibility of the threat.

A senior police officer confirmed that standard operating procedures were followed and that the inspection would continue until the premises were fully cleared.
