Pakistan Thrash India A in Rising Stars Clash

Pakistan recorded a commanding victory over India A in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament in Doha, showcasing the strength of the next generation of players. Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first, setting the tone with disciplined bowling.

India A struggled to build momentum and despite a few promising starts the lineup faltered under sustained pressure. Wickets fell regularly and the innings concluded at a modest 136 runs.

Pakistan’s response was swift and ruthless. The Shaheens chased down the target of 137 in only 13 point 2 overs with eight wickets in hand. Maaz Sadaqat stood out with an assured performance that earned him Player of the Match honors.

The decisive victory secured Pakistan the top spot in Group B and a well deserved place in the tournament semifinals.

Pakistan Senior Team Completes 3 0 Whitewash Against Sri Lanka

Earlier the senior national side wrapped up their ODI series against Sri Lanka with a professional all round performance in Rawalpindi. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 211 in 45 point 2 overs after losing regular wickets throughout the innings.

Pakistan’s chase began shakily but composure soon returned. Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam constructed a steadying stand of 74 runs before Sri Lanka picked up wickets in the middle overs to create brief tension.

Fakhar scored 55 off 45 balls to register his nineteenth ODI half century. Babar added 34 before falling in the same phase. With the chase momentarily balanced at 101 for 4 the experienced pairing of Mohammad Rizwan and Hussain Talat took control.

Their undefeated 100 run partnership carried Pakistan comfortably to a six wicket victory in the 45th over. Rizwan finished unbeaten on 61 while Talat contributed 42 not out sealing the series sweep.

Momentum Building Across Pakistan Cricket

These two results represent a significant confidence boost for Pakistan cricket. The Shaheens demonstrated maturity and aggression against a long time rival while the senior side exhibited stability and tactical strength.

Cricket analysts view this combination as a positive indicator of depth in talent and continuity in team development. With the youth squad entering the semifinals and the senior squad preparing for upcoming international commitments the outlook appears strong for Pakistan across formats.
