Precision strike follows aerial surveillance; arms and communication gear recovered in separate Bajaur operation
DALBANDIN: Security forces eliminated six militants affiliated with a group operating under the name Fitna-al-Hindustan during a successful counterterrorism operation in the Dalbandin area of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation was conducted after aerial surveillance confirmed the militants’ presence in a mountain cave. Forces targeted the hideout with precision, successfully neutralizing the terrorists and destroying their base of operations.
Part of Ongoing Counterterrorism Campaign
Authorities stated that the Dalbandin action is part of continued efforts to restore law and order across Balochistan. The coordinated strike was achieved through close cooperation between security forces and intelligence agencies.
Security officials emphasized that operations will persist until the complete eradication of terrorist elements from the province.
One Militant Killed in Bajaur’s Shahi Tangi Operation
In a separate operation conducted in the Shahi Tangi forest area of Bajaur, security forces killed one militant while several others, reportedly injured, managed to flee the scene.
Acting on credible intelligence reports, forces launched an assault on a cave where the militants had taken cover. A fierce exchange of fire followed before the area, including tunnels and surrounding spots, was thoroughly cleared.
During the operation, weapons, explosive materials, and communication equipment used by the militants were recovered.
