Swabi Issues Deadline for Afghan Camps to Prevent Government Action

Swabi District Orders Afghan Refugees to Vacate Camps by December 30

The Swabi district administration has issued formal notices to Afghan refugees residing in Barakai Afghan Refugee Camp (Gohati) and Gandaf Refugee Camp, directing them to return to their homeland.

Following government directives, all refugee camps must be evacuated by December 30. Official notices have been served, and the administration has confirmed that the camps will be demolished on December 31.

Station House Officers (SHOs) have informed residents for the final time to start practical arrangements for shifting household belongings and businesses. The notices emphasize that timely compliance will prevent forced government action and ensure a dignified and orderly repatriation of Afghan refugees.
